On July 2nd we went up to the top of Penang Hill - 833 meters above sea level. The train that took us up went along a very steep track. I think I had my eyes closed part of the way!! The views from the top were amazing!! Our timing was good as the clouds started rolling in and the view was obstructed. We were high enough that we were in the clouds!! Weird!
First up are two videos - the first one (almost 6 minutes) is on the ride up to the top of Penang Hill and the second video (about 10 minutes) is on the ride down from Penang Hill. They are both a bit shaky and sea-sicky but really show a nice idea of how steep the climb was! Thanks to Hannah for doing the video-taping on the way down!
