Late - times three!!

So we finally arrived at our hotel in Monterey around 1am yesterday.  We should have landed at the airport at 8:19pm...  Every flight we had was late!  Our 11:45 flight out of Harrrisburg left at 1:10, or 3:35 flight out of Chicago lrft around 6:20, and our 7:10 flight out of LA left at about 10:20pm.  You know you have trael troubles when you arrive at an airport at 9:10 (or so) and have not missed your 7:10 flight...  Then we get to Monterey and our one checked bag did not arrive with us.  Thankfully I packed most of my conference clothing in my carry-on bag - but not my shoes.  Oh well, Birkies it will have to be (I suspect they are a bit better than running shoes).

The first session for the conference is at 1pm so John and I did some exploring in the morning.  I'll post more about it later this evening but will post a teaser video of some sea otters (or sea lions??).  So cute!!
